The basic mode of transportation include tricycles, jeepneys, buses, and taxis. Jeepneys usually fetch a regular rate of Php 7.00 (about 16 cents) only. Very cheap, huh! For longer land travel, you may need to ride a bus. You can also take a seacraft to hop from one Visayan Island to the other. Depending on the distance, the fare does not cost more than Php500 or in the current exchange, about $11.00. However, if you wish to rent transportation for a package tour, there are many available for a modest rate.
