Travel Tips n' Tricks
If you are a neophyte traveller, you will need some TRAVEL TIPS N TRICKS. In the Visayas Region of the Philippines, you don't need to spend much since the areas are relatively small. The basic mode of transportation include tricycles, jeepneys, buses, and taxis. Jeepneys usually fetch a regular rate of Php 7.00 (about 16 cents) only. Very cheap, huh! For longer land travel, you may need to ride a bus. You can also take a seacraft to hop from one Visayan Island to the other. Depending on the distance, the fare does not cost more than Php500 or in the current exchange, about $11.00. However, if you wish to rent transportation for a package tour, there are many available for a modest rate.
